What is IET?
- IET stands for Integrated Education and Training.
- IET is a service approach that provides adult education and literacy activities concurrently and contextually with workforce preparation activities and workforce training for a specific occupation or occupational cluster for the purpose of educational and career advancement.
Learner Goals
- By the end of the IET program, achieve a minimum English language proficiency level of Advanced (Level 6) in both Reading and Listening.
- Within 90 days from the conclusion of the IET Program, transition to a full-time career technical program in the Industrial cluster or obtain a job in the sector they receive training for in the IET program.
Entry Requirements
- Age 18 or Above
- Minimum Level 5 in CASAS Reading and Listening Skills
- Hillsborough County Resident
- Digital Literacy
- Background Check
- Commitment to Complete Full Program
- GED or High School Diploma

Program Expectations
- Students should have a complete set of learning materials before coming to class.
- Students should arrive to class on-time.
- Students should participate in classroom lessons and activities.
- Students should be able to access to technology and complete reading assignments outside of class time.
- Students must have 100% attendance in CTE Program (165 hours).
- Students should communicate with instructors if you have a problem affecting program participation.
- Students should let their instructors know when they gain employment in their chosen career field.
