Basic Skills Requirement
Comprehensive Adult Student Assessment System (CASAS) score of 239 in Reading, and 236 in Math are required prior to graduation (some exemptions apply).

Program Description:
Building Construction Technologies prepares students to apply a full range of carpentry skills including print reading, estimating, building codes interpretation, rough framing, finish trim, windows, doors, roofing, stairs, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, Masonry, and more.

Concrete form carpenter, framing carpenter, trim carpenter, roofer, cabinet installation, flooring, metal studs and drywall application, window installer, rough and finish stair builder, residential or commercial exterior finisher, surveyor's helper, fence installation, insulator, plumber/electrician/HVAC/Mason helper/apprentice and more.
